Founding and Senior Partner of the Firm, His key area of specialization is Litigation and he has succesfully argued about hunderd cases at various courts and tribunals.. Prashant has advised a number of clients on various issues dealing with Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities laws, Financial Services, Energy law. He has also represented various hostipats and has succesfully litigated on matters concerning medical negligence. He has also succesfully dealt with matters falling within the purview of the Sarfaesi Act and conseqently has litigated before various Debt Recovery Tribunals as well. He is also currently pursuing a lot of pro bona work and is handling the high profile dhaula kuan gang rape case before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court. Prashant Katara is also the lead Counsel to various N.G.O’s and has also advised large multinational clients.

 

Anuj Sehrawat

Anuj joined the Firm in 2011. With a LL.M degree from University of London in Corporate & Commercial Laws, Anuj brings to the Firm a healthy mix of Indian - English legal culture and strong professional ethics. Anuj has previously been associated with Morgan & Walker in its London Offices.

Anuj undertakes drafting of fund & investment management documentation, filing registration applications with regulators, and obtaining registrations. Post establishment advises includes the structuring of and investment by the funds into portfolio companies.

The financing deals handled by him include complex Syndicated Lending, Structured Products, Project Finance, External Commercial Borrowings, and bilateral lending deals including mortgage and asset-based lending, equipment leasing, securitization transactions. His scope of work covers the entire spectrum including structuring transactions, drafting term sheets and transactional documents, advising on the banking framework and related issues. He has also successfully represented a lot of multi national companies in Arbitral Proceedings conducted at India.

Anil Mittal

 Mr.Mittal has been litigating successfully in the apex court for over two decades. He has a vast experience in dealing and handling service laws. He has appeared against a lot of PSU’s as well as government undertakings for eg D.T.C; D.J.B. Mr.Mittal is also currently representing state of Uttar Pradesh in various courts of law situated in Delhi hence acts as a backbone to the firm.

The senior partner of the firm Sh.Prashant Katara represented a resident of “Hauz Khas Village” before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court against “illegal construction” as well as encroachment upon public land being done at Hauz Khas Village. The Hon’ble Delhi High Court disposed off the said petition with a direction to maintain “Status-Quo” regarding the construction till the application of the petitioner was decided.
